Some junctions call for more than four directions, and the 5-way (Wood) answers exactly that need by bringing five timber beams together at a single connection point. Each beam extends outward from the node, allowing structures to branch in five separate directions from one shared connector rather than relying on multiple smaller joints stacked together. It is available in four internal sizes: 52×52 mm, 62×62 mm, 70×70 mm, and 90×90 mm, with weight rising accordingly, from 0.87 kg at the smallest size up to 3.08 kg at the largest, reflecting the extra material needed for the additional connection point.
As with the rest of the Topclamp Wood range, finishing options include a natural finish as standard, alongside anodized, chrome-plated, and nickel-plated alternatives, plus any RAL color on request. Finishing preferences can be specified in the order comments field, giving builders the choice to keep the connector understated or use it as a visible structural feature.
