3-way T-piece (Wood) – Topclamp Wood

At the intersection of two aligned beams and a third running perpendicular into them, the 3-way T-piece (Wood) provides the T-shaped junction that straight two-way and three-way corner connectors simply cannot deliver. Rather than joining beams at a shared corner, the 3-way T-piece (Wood) lets one beam run straight through while a second beam branches off at a right angle, a configuration commonly needed for mid-span supports and cross-bracing. It comes in four internal sizes: 52×52 mm, 62×62 mm, 70×70 mm, and 90×90 mm, with weight increasing accordingly so the right connector can be matched to the span and load of the structure.

As with the rest of the Topclamp Wood range, finishing options for this connector include a natural finish as standard, plus anodized, chrome-plated, and nickel-plated alternatives, and any RAL color on request. Builders can specify their preferred finish in the order comments field, allowing the connector to either disappear into the timber frame or serve as a visible structural accent.

The 3-way T-piece (Wood) is particularly suited to decking substructures, pergola cross-beams, and modular outdoor builds where a beam needs to be tapped into at a mid-point rather than joined at its end.
